Do you want to improve your current interpersonal relationships? Join me from 9 am to noon (Eastern Daylight Time) on Saturday October 8 and Saturday October 15, 2011 at the Loudon campus of the Northern Virginia Community College for two informational and interactive classes focused on creating healthy relationships.
Barbara Streisand made famous the song “People Who Need People” not only because of her well-known voice, but because she spoke the truth. People were designed to be in connection with one another. We learn about ourselves and our environment as we interact with other people. Those who have strong relationships with their spouse, family, friends, and their community are healthier, happier and live longer lives. Many of us, however, struggle with interpersonal relationships and find them challenging. The closer you are to someone, the more likely it is there eventually will be conflict in the relationship.
In this class, you will learn:
• Secrets of what attracts you to other people, whether it’s a friend or spouse
• Steps to becoming a more conscious and attuned partner
• Tools to develop healthier communication skills
• How emotional intelligence applies to your relationship
and more.
